ZC of Grand Island Announce Zonta 100 – Summer Solstice Event

The Erie County Commission on the Status of Women (ECCSW) and the Zonta Club of Grand Island invite you to join us on Friday, June 21st, the first day of the summer, for a celebration to honor those affected by domestic violence and celebrate Zonta turning 100. Zonta International envisions a world in which women’s rights are recognized as human rights and every woman is able to achieve her full potential. Where women have access to all resources and are represented in decision making positions on an equal basis with men. In such a world, no woman lives in fear of violence.

We will gather and spell out “100” in honor of the Zonta Centennial celebration. Wear your best teal/turquoise shirt (see the Zonta Centennial Logo) and we will have a drone photo taken at 7pm. Laura Mason will also speak about the Family Justice Center. Light refreshments will be served starting at 6pm.

The Erie County Tribute Garden at located in Isle View Park. The parking lot is located at the south end of the park it’s just a short walk to the garden entrance. (43.001437, -78.926027)
