 Donor Reception Recognition Criteria

 

Recognition is awarded for contributions to any fund from 1 June 2018 – 30 April 2020.

Donations must be received at Zonta International Headquarters by 30 April 2020 to qualify.

Criteria

Individual Donors who gave US$1,500 or more during the biennium.
Donors who reached lifetime giving of US$25,000 or above during the biennium.
Donors who reached US$50,000 lifetime giving.

Clubs that gave US$20,000 or above during the biennium.

Invitation to club president and one additional member.

Criteria

District ** The top three districts with the highest total donations during the current biennium.
The district with 1,000 or more active club members, with the highest weighted increase over last biennium.
The district, with 1,000 or less active club members, with the highest weighted increase over last biennium.
The district with the most donations per capita during the current biennium.
** Invitation to governor and district foundation ambassador

  • Funds the charitable and education programs of Zonta International.
  • Contributions go entirely to program support and development.
  •  Zonta International membership dues support operating expenses.
  • Clubs are requested to give 1/3 of funds raised to Zonta International Foundation (ZIF).

 

Why Give?

The Zonta International Foundation (ZIF) funds the approved charitable and educational programs of Zonta International.  Without ZIF, we could not deliver the Zonta projects and education programs.

The Foundation was established in 1984 and incorporated in 1985.  The Foundation is governed by the officers and directors that Zonta  members elect at the international convention.

  • Established to honor individuals who entrusted their legacy to the Foundation through a planned gift.
  • Each planned gift helps to ensure the future of Zonta’sprograms to empower women.

Biennial Goals

Encourage Club Donations

Encourageall clubs to donate to Zonta International.  We are striving for 100% up from 92%.

Encourage Individual Donations

Increase individual donations from 26.7% of the membership to 35% of the district members.

Educate Donating Opportunities

Educatethe members of District 4 through workshops, district communications, Area Directors and Club visits. We will have 18 touch points for the biennium.
