About Margret Geare

Margaret is an enthusiastic five-year member of the Zonta Club of Brampton-Caledon. She is currently an appointed member of the District 4 Board as UN Chair (Canada).

Margaret thinks the best way to advance Zonta’s mission is for clubs in the district to form partnerships with like-minded organizations. This provides the local club to become more visible in the community through exposure to the like-minded organizations’ connections.

KATHRYN BUNYAN-MCCLENDON

About Kathryn Bunyan-McClendon

Kathryn (Kat) has been a dedicated member of the Zonta Club of Niagara Falls, New York for 10 years. 

In that time she was awarded the Club Zontian of the Year award in 2014 for making the club more technologically savvy. She currently is on her second term as an appointed member of the District 4 Communications team. 

As a member of the District 4 Board as Vice Area Director, Kat’s dream would be getting all clubs involved in social media. Her goal would be to schedule information sessions on how to safely and effectively utilize this important communication tool to ensure Zonta continues for another 100 years.

ELAINE BARKOWSKI

About Elaine Barkowski

Elaine is a dedicated 10-year member of the Zonta Club of Hamburg Orchard Park. During that time she has been honored as Zontian of the Year in 2013 and 2018. 

Elaine has attended many Zonta workshops and worked in her club to develop many personal strengths. She feels will give her the skills needed to be a Vice Area Director.

Elaine feels that her 33 years of classroom experience to be organized, sort out conflict resolution and develop and put to use her leadership skills will be an asset moving forward with the clubs in Area 4.
