The Buffalo and Erie County Library has opened an “outdoor reading room” in a triangular green space across the street from the library.  Several author’s names along the sidewalk circling the park, including Marian de Forest.
Mary Vacanti, President of the ZC of Buffalo and Vivian Cody, Past Governor locate Marian de Forest’s name on the sidewalk circling the newly developed outdoor reading space near the Buffalo and Erie County Public Library.  Besides being the founder of Zonta, Marian is well known as the author of the play Little Women, based on the story by Louisa May Alcott.  Vivian C., Mary V., and Mary Yunker, D4 Archivist, also visited the library searching for items relating to Marian de Forest.
