Dear Zontians,

HAPPY JULY! July 14 is just 2 weeks – or – 14 days from now.  That’s the registration deadline for our Centennial Conference at the Early Bird price of $225 USD. We’d like everyone to pay just $225 USD. After that, the registration fee will be $260 – so it’s an easy way to save $35. This includes the whole Conference with meals & two nights of professional entertainment including the Gala.

Oh – and for those who want to meet Judy Gorton at the Thursday Reception, here’s just some of the menu – Chicken Souvlaki with Tzatziki, Greek Salad, Caprese Salad, Italian Meats Calzone, etc. – All for $45.

In my last May letter, I already told you about a lot of the new & wonderful things we’re doing to make our Once-in-a-lifetime Centennial Conference special for you. It starts with our Opening Ceremony. Following the flags, Representatives from each Club will enter in the order their clubs joined Zonta.

Thanks to the Workshop Evaluation Forms, we are focusing on Presentations & Workshops that YOU said are most important to you: Time with old & new friends, Longer Breakout Workshops, & Up-to-date Topics – like: Stepping Up To Club Office With the Help of Mentors; Advocating: The Caucus & Indigenous Issues; Different Techniques To Invigorate Your Members;  Hands On Navigating The New D4 & ZI Websites; and Facts & Fun About Zonta’s History.
In Current District News, there will be presentations on the projects of the three Centennial Award Recipients you elected at Workshops.

ZI Director Judy Gorton will install your new officers using the Australian Installation Ceremony – much more modern than ours. You’ll be with your friends as they are installed.

The Centennial Quilt of Your hand made squares will be displayed.

Registration is simple. Go to www.staging.zontadistrict4.org. Print the registration form. Fill it out and mail it with your Check to D4 Registrar Carol Spedding, 5876 Stone Rd., Lockport, NY 14094. Or register on-line to use Credit Card & PayPal. If you have a problem, Sheena Poole ([email protected]) has offered to help you.

If you’d like a roommate to share the hotel cost, email D4 Secretary Marianne Chiumento ([email protected]). She’ll email you the List of others who want roommates.
